Liany believes that her clients are the experts of their own lives. She stands side by side with her clients to help them externalize the problem without having to identify with it, and give meaning to their experiences. With an understanding that each client’s life story is unique to them, she evaluates and creates an individual treatment plan helping them to overcome obstacles and navigate their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in order to lead happier lives within the context of their systems. By implementing treatment modalities including, Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment, Narrative, Solution-Focused, and Psychodynamic, Liany’s goal is to provide her clients with a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic environment where they may share the challenges that are impeding them from leading the lives and relationships they desire, explore new possible solutions, as well as obtain the tools needed to cope with life’s challenges in a more effective manner.
